Travels

Josh's remarkable paintings are the result of a talented, practiced hand and a deep understanding of his subjects gained through the careful study of animals and nature. Josh travels the world to research his paintings, taking thousands of reference photos. You will find a sampling of his recent adventures below.

Studio of Patrick Mavros

Looking for a Sable

Friend and Professional Hunter, Jofie Lamprecht, looking for a Sable. Often, the only way to get a good look of an area was to find an elevated position and trees were often the only choice.
