IVAN CARTER WILDLIFE CONSERVATION ALLIANCE READY TO START MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

The Ivan Carter Wildlife Conservation Foundation would like to announce that we now have our full 501(c)3 charity status and are ready to start making a profound difference to wildlife across Africa!

After almost three years of filming episodes of cartersWAR, I have been shocked to truly find how precarious the future of our wildlife is, and whether its walking up to a rhino, still alive, its face brutally hacked off, or whether it's the discovery that a million tones of bushmeat comes out of the Congo basin every year, or the gruesome fact that 1000 live baby chimps are snatched from their dead mothers every 12 months, it comes to the same thing:

THIS HAS TO STOP

After a lot of thought and consideration I believe the following to be as true as it is simple.

CONSERVATION IS EASY!

It simply takes passionate individuals on the front line with global support to afford them the tools and training they need to be succeed. We intend to generate that global support.

Our purpose clause states. We will support initiatives that:

• Develop and implement conservation and wildlife propagation strategies, including strategies to combat poaching;
• Develop and implement holistic wildlife conservation solutions with and involving indigenous communities;
• Provide financial, material and tactical support to anti-poaching groups
• Increase awareness and acceptance of the value of maintaining diverse wildlife populations

Our foundation is different to most, with a powerful board of conservationists, bylaws that promise to send a minimum of 90% of donations to the front line, and a deep knowledge of the true issues and solutions that take into careful account the needs of the, on the front line, we are poised to make a spectacular difference.

As a father of two, I realize that the most important thing we can give our children, after the love of God, is the love of wildlife and a true understanding of what conservation is all about. With the human element in Africa larger than its ever been, and wildlife under more pressure than its ever been under, it has never been more important to act! Let us leave our kids a wildlife heritage and teach them how to care for it into the future!

It is not just our human children, but it is also our wildlife children that are desperate and equally deserving of our support! They truly are the lost children of Africa!

WE WILL FIND THEM AND PROTECT THEM!

We have a simple and highly effective website located at www.ivancarterwca.org, and will be taking donations in dollars and miles going forward. We have chosen nine different projects to support. These projects are equipped with exceptional leadership on the ground in Africa. They have had exceptional effect on conservation and truly have the ability to shine with our support.
